'Tightrope' (therapy art print)
'Tightrope' (therapy art print)
Materials:
This limited edition Digital Acrylic painting depicts the uncertain risk of the tightrope walk. It's ideal for the therapy room walls or any area dedicated to reflection or spiritual activities.
We choose to go forward even though we're surrounded by hazard. I once saw a painted Victorian slogan on the back of a restored merry-go-round, 'Hazard Yet Forward'. It's been my motto for most of life. We use skill and balance to walk this difficult path.
I intended to depict the balance required as we navigate risk, and the displacement we feel from our comfort zones. The subject of this art is James, a close spiritual friend, who posed with light-heartedness during our evening session in Bristol. I used videography to capture the pose and expression, then blended contemporary and classical aesthetics with digital acrylics and inks on my trusty laptop in this artwork.
Only 250 of these prints exist, and each comes with a Certificate of Authenticity to ensure its quality and authenticity.
