When we properly thank others, we embrace something good in ourselves, Our ability to be grateful. This is such a sovereign and generous act that it makes us feel good inside at the time of thanking. Gratitude flows both ways.
My goal was to capture the heart-warming essence of gratitude and the psychological benefit of gratitude. Kevin, a dear spiritual friend, posed for this work during an expressive sitting in Bristol. I captured the pose and expression with videography, then harmonized modern and classical elements using digital acrylics and inks on my trusty laptop in this artwork.
