'Surprise' (therapy art print)
'Surprise' (therapy art print)
Materials:
This limited edition Digital Acrylic painting celebrates the slightly gormless sensation as an unpleasant surprise lands. It's intended to hang in the therapy room or any area focused on self-awareness or spiritual pursuits.
The distancing shock of a surprise whether good or bad forces a moment of disconnection from reality.
I aimed to represent the shock of an unexpected surprise - either good or bad - and the disbelief we feel at first reaction. This painting features Lewis, a good spiritual friend, who modelled for it during a Bristol session. I recorded the pose and expression through videography and created a blend of classical and modern aesthetics using digital acrylics and inks on my dependable laptop for this painting.
Limited to 250 prints, this edition includes a Certificate of Authenticity to certify its quality and origin.
