I intended to convey the sanctity of sending a profound prayer and the connection with the divine. The subject of this painting is Lewis, a dear spiritual friend who posed during a session in Bristol. I captured the pose and expression via videography, followed by applying digital acrylics and inks on my faithful laptop to blend modern and classical aesthetics in this painting.
