Sometimes when we grow, we merely give ourselves a pat on the back. but when we truly grow and really notice our gains, we see the scale of our power and capability compared to our old selves or our environment.
My goal was to embody the transformative power of personal growth and the internal strength it opens up. This painting features James, a close and kind spiritual companion, who playfully posed during our evening session in Bristol. I used videography to record the pose and expression, then integrated modern and traditional elements with digital acrylics and inks on my trusty laptop for this artwork.
