Fear is our most common emotion - we encounter it most days. It can both preserve us and ruin us. And our reaction is usually to pay attention and back away.
I sought to explore both the gripping emotion of fear of the unknown and the uncertainty it casts over our path. The model for this piece is my close spiritual friend, Kevin, who graciously posed for an expressive session in Bristol. I employed videography to seize the pose and expression, then blended modern and classical elements with digital acrylics and inks on my trusty laptop in this artwork.
