I sought to capture both the exuberant emotion of dancing with joy and the infectious happiness it spreads. The model in this painting is Kevin, a wonderful spiritual friend, captured during a sitting in Bristol. I recorded the pose and expression via videography and used digital acrylics and inks on my dependable laptop to merge classical and contemporary elements in this painting.
