I sought to express both the power of channelling spirit and the openness needed to acquire it. The model depicted is Kevin, a wonderful spiritual friend, whom I had the pleasure of painting during a sitting in Bristol. I recorded the pose and expression with videography, then applied digital acrylics and inks on my dependable laptop to blend contemporary and traditional styles in this artwork.
